The Projekt Co. is operated by The Projekt, Co., formed in Delaware (“TPC”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal information we collect through theprojektco.com, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It describes what this website actually does.
Information you give us. When you send an inquiry through our form, we receive your name, email address and message and, if you choose to include them, your company and where you’d like to start. If you email us, book a call or work with us, we receive the information you choose to share, such as contact details, company and professional information, and project details.
Technical information. Our website host receives basic technical information with each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. Some third-party content on the site receives similar information when it loads (see “Third-party content and tracking” below).
We don’t ask for sensitive personal information. Please don’t send passwords, account numbers, health information or other sensitive personal information through our form or by email.
We use personal information to respond to your inquiry; to evaluate, discuss and provide work you ask us about; to keep business and accounting records; to operate and secure the website and prevent fraud or misuse; to comply with the law; and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We don’t use it for advertising or to build marketing profiles, and we don’t run a newsletter or marketing list.
We share personal information only as reasonably needed with service providers that help us run TPC: our form service (Formspree), which receives inquiry submissions, stores them in its system and sends them to us by email; our website host (Cloudflare); our email provider; our booking provider (Cal.com), if you book a call; and our payment provider (Stripe) or bank, if you pay an invoice. We may also disclose information where reasonably required by law or legal process, to protect security or prevent fraud, to protect our rights or the rights of others, or as part of a merger, sale or restructuring of our business, if one occurs.
We do not sell personal information.
We don’t use analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking on this website. Some project pages load web fonts from Google Fonts and embedded videos from YouTube (in its privacy-enhanced mode). When those pages load, your browser connects to those services, which receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details. These third parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites under their own privacy policies; we don’t control that. Links to other sites, such as Cal.com, LinkedIn or press coverage, take you to services with their own policies.
Because we don’t track visitors across sites, the website works the same whether or not your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal.
Our own code sets no cookies. It stores one setting in your browser when you dismiss the site notice, so the notice isn’t shown again. The third-party content described above may set or read its own cookies or similar storage under its own policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above: responding to your inquiry; evaluating or managing a business relationship; providing services; keeping business and accounting records; enforcing agreements and resolving disputes; security; and meeting legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it where reasonably practical, subject to backups and legal requirements.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information we handle, and we rely on established service providers. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
To ask about the personal information we hold about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it, email hello@theprojektco.com with the subject “PRIVACY REQUEST”. This is also our designated address for any request that we not sell your personal information: we don’t sell personal information, and if that ever changes we will honor such requests where applicable law requires. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time applicable law requires. Some information may be kept where the law requires or allows it.
This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. When we do, we will post the new version here and change the effective date at the top. If a change is material, we will say so on this page and give any additional notice that applicable law requires.
Questions about this policy, or a privacy request: hello@theprojektco.com (subject “PRIVACY REQUEST”). The Projekt, Co., Las Vegas, Nevada.
