Dream Las Vegas was planned as a 531-key boutique hotel and casino at the southern end of the Strip, steps from the Welcome to Las Vegas sign. Developed by Contour and Shopoff Realty Investments in partnership with Dream Hotel Group, it was designed to bring an intimate, lifestyle-driven hospitality experience to a corridor dominated by megaresorts. A $550 million project on a 5.25-acre parcel, positioned to become Dream Hotel Group's flagship property.
We came into Contour when Dream was already in motion. The CEO was based in Vegas, his executive team was in California, and we ran operations and the creative work on the ground alongside him. We were the extension of the exec team in the city where the project actually lived.
Dream received Clark County approval. It broke ground in the summer of 2022 at a ceremony attended by Governor Steve Sisolak and county leadership. The project moved from a slide in a deck to a crane on the Strip. What happened after construction began, between contractor liens and stalled financing, is a separate story, one outside the scope of the work we were hired to do. Our work covered operations and creative materials through groundbreaking.
